Authenticity Plugin for Firefox

There are many companies out there that test content for authenticity and verify sources, like Attributor, PlagiarismDetect, the Viper and Plagiarism-Detector scanners for Windows, CopyScape, TurnItIn.

A Mozilla Firefox plugin could make content on websites with stickers, similar to Tom Scott’s real-world stickers for newspapers – mark unverified content from Wikipedia, or brain-less RTs from twitter, copy-and-paste from press releases or website description. Revenue streams could from recommended more original content, advertisement from keywords, and traffic data collection and intelligence…

It would be interesting to see in real time who is copying from whom. Which is also interesting information to identify early movers and shakers, or give credit to the real sources.
